{"id":554,"date":"2019-04-21T19:15:52","date_gmt":"2019-04-22T00:15:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/biblicalpath.com\/?p=554"},"modified":"2019-08-18T19:14:29","modified_gmt":"2019-08-19T00:14:29","slug":"lesson-48-proverbs-25-31-wisdom-revealed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/biblicalpath.com\/index.php\/2019\/04\/21\/lesson-48-proverbs-25-31-wisdom-revealed\/","title":{"rendered":"Lesson 9 (Lesson 48):  Proverbs 25-31:  Wisdom Revealed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Key Verse<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cBoast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.\u201d\u00a0 <strong>Proverbs 27:1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Read the Key Verse with your class.\u00a0 Ask your students if they have ever made plans to start something tomorrow (i.e.: start a new book, work on homework later in the weekend \u2013 instead of Friday, quit eating too much candy and eat better, be nice to someone \u2013 later, read their Bible, tell someone about Jesus, etc.).\u00a0 It is very easy to put something off until tomorrow.\u00a0 We have no idea what tomorrow may hold.\u00a0 Usually, it is nothing like we had planned for it to be.\u00a0 Read today\u2019s memory verse together.\u00a0 Remind them of the important words of wisdom we have been learning.\u00a0 How many have actually begun to put into practice some of the things we have learned?\u00a0 Remember the old saying, \u201cDon\u2019t put off till tomorrow what you can do today.\u201d\u00a0 Help them understand this is kind of what today\u2019s memory verse is saying.\u00a0 How can we plan tomorrow when we don\u2019t know what tomorrow may bring?\u00a0 We will see wisdom revealed in our lesson today as some, who implemented these truths, found they were very real \u2013 and important.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Summary:<\/strong>\u00a0 Today we will finish the third Personal book, Proverbs.\u00a0 We have been learning that it is not only important to know the words of wisdom recorded in this book, but we must learn to live a life applying that wisdom.\u00a0 Then we will be able to live a life that pleases God.\u00a0 We learned it is important to live that way early in life.\u00a0 Last week we saw a listing comparing wisdom to foolishness, wise to unwise, right and wrong, and even good and evil. Remember that these words were written to help us live our daily lives wisely.<\/p>\n<p>We have read many wise things.\u00a0 This week we will see what happens when these words of wisdom are revealed when applied to lives.\u00a0 It affects our relationship with other people.\u00a0 These words cause us to recognize we are a sinful people who need God, and His forgiveness.\u00a0 The conclusion of this book shows the importance of a virtuous woman.\u00a0 It helps us understand the pivotal role a woman plays in each home.<\/p>\n<p>Continue to encourage your students to not only memorize these words of wisdom, but to apply these truths to their lives.<\/p>\n<p>Encourage your students to bring their Bibles and use them!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Emphasis:\u00a0 <\/strong>To learn the words of wisdom recorded in the book of Proverbs.\u00a0 Recognize they are words that define a person\u2019s nature \u2013 either one who seeks wisdom; or a fool.\u00a0 Make them personal words of encouragement from wise men, Solomon and others, who wanted others to learn just what wisdom is \u2013 and how to get it.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Optional Worksheets to be downloaded:<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/biblicalpath.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Lesson-48-Volume-1-Childrens-Worksheet-1.pdf\">Lesson 48 &#8211; Volume 1 Children&#8217;s Worksheet 1<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/biblicalpath.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Lesson-48-Volume-1-Childrens-Reinforcement-Worksheet.pdf\">Lesson 48 &#8211; Volume 1 Children&#8217;s Reinforcement Worksheet<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ideas for children:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Stickers always work well with children.
