1 Timothy 1:16<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This amazing hymn was written many years ago. However, the truths revealed were recorded much longer ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. \u201cMan of Sorrows!\u201d what a name
    For the Son of God, who came
    Ruined sinners to reclaim.
    Hallelujah! What a Savior!<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Bearing shame and scoffing rude,
    In my place condemned He stood;
    Sealed my pardon with His blood.
    Hallelujah! What a Savior!<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Guilty, vile, and helpless we;
    Spotless Lamb of God was He;
    \u201cFull atonement!\u201d can it be?
    Hallelujah! What a Savior!<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Lifted up was He to die;
    \u201cIt is finished!\u201d was His cry;
    Now in Heav\u2019n exalted high.

  5. When He comes, our glorious King,
    All His ransomed home to bring,
    Then anew His song we\u2019ll sing:

    The following verses in Isaiah 53 were foretelling of Jesus, the Saviour, who was to come:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \u201c2. For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, <\/strong>there is<\/strong><\/em> no beauty that we should desire him. 3. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were <\/strong>our<\/strong><\/em> faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5. But he <\/strong>was<\/strong><\/em> wounded for our transgressions, <\/strong>he was<\/strong><\/em> bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace <\/strong>was<\/strong><\/em> upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. 7. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. 8. He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. 9. And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither <\/strong>was any<\/strong><\/em> deceit in his mouth. 10. Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put <\/strong>him<\/strong><\/em> to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see <\/strong>his<\/strong><\/em> seed, he shall prolong <\/strong>his<\/strong><\/em> days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. 11. He shall see of the travail of his soul, <\/strong>and<\/strong><\/em> shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Read how Paul declared what Jesus did for him; one who was a sinner saved by grace. \u201c12. And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; <\/strong>13. Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did <\/strong>it<\/strong><\/em> ignorantly in unbelief. 14. And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. 15. This <\/strong>is<\/strong><\/em> a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. 16. Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. 17. Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, <\/strong>be<\/strong><\/em> honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen<\/strong>\u201d (1 Timothy 1:12-17).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Have you recognized the Man of Sorrows who gave His life to save yours?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
