{"id":8,"date":"2018-03-28T03:03:22","date_gmt":"2018-03-28T03:03:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/biblicalpath.com\/?page_id=8"},"modified":"2026-08-18T10:15:54","modified_gmt":"2026-08-18T15:15:54","slug":"about","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/biblicalpath.com\/index.php\/about\/","title":{"rendered":"About"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Personal Note&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>For those of you who do not know me personally, I want to share some basic things that I believe.\u00a0 As a Christian, I believe that Jesus is the Son of God, who loves me, died for me, and rose again so I could have eternal life with Him. I am anxiously awaiting for the rapture.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong> Salvation is a free gift and I cannot earn it: <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u201c<\/strong><em> For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9. Not of works, lest any man should boast.<\/em><strong>\u201d Ephesians 2:8-9 <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong> Anyone who gives their life to Jesus will be saved: <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u201c<\/strong><em>That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved<\/em>.<strong>\u201d Romans 10:9 <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong> I believe that the Bible is God\u2019s Word to man, and I am to live my life according to the principles that are recorded there. <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201c<em>For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.<\/em><em>\u201d Romans 15:4 <\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>\u201cAll Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:<\/em><em>\u201d 2 Timothy 3:16.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><strong>We should all be willing to share the Good News of Jesus and what He did for us:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u201c<\/strong>\u00a0&#8230; and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.<strong>\u201d Acts 1:8b<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Growing up in a Christian home is no guarantee that one understands the Bible or how to live a Christian life. Being saved as a young child I learned many Bible stories, but it wasn\u2019t until later that I began to understand how all of these \u201cstories\u201d fit together.\u00a0 Jesus was planned from the beginning of time to redeem mankind because of\u00a0 sin. I also began to understand that all of those \u201cstories\u201d were connected together.\u00a0 The Bible is not just a compilation of popular Bible stories. \u00a0They were real events in real people\u2019s lives.\u00a0 The Bible isn\u2019t just full of favorite Bible passages.\u00a0 Those Bible passages were messages from God to specific people throughout the ages.\u00a0 And these Words were preserved for us to read, understand, and live by today.\u00a0 All people, especially children, are capable of learning so much more. <strong><em>The Biblical Path of Life<\/em> <\/strong>is a study meant to simplify the understanding making the Bible relevant to a Christian\u2019s life \u2013 young or old.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>The Biblical Path of Life<\/em> <\/strong>has been used in the local church of M. J. Ross for over fifteen years as a Sunday School program.\u00a0 It has been shared with a few other churches (and individuals) who have used it as well.<\/p>\n<p><strong>M. J. Ross<\/strong> was raised being taught the importance of God&#8217;s Word.
